Walking after Christmas
In a bid to break through the seasonal torpor driven by, cold, wet, windy weather, long dark nights and (ahem) the occasional glass of beajolais we went for a walk to the nearby Erewood Hall.
Long dark nights do have one advantage, golden hour and decent sunsets happen at civilised times of the day.

Anyway, that was a few days ago. At the moment Buxton is covered by 6in (15cm) snow. So walking off the table foe now amd we're down to the Smoke.
